In an attempt to educate residents of Diamond Point, SAPOA Board of Directors is notifying all residents that effective May 17, 2025, it is illegal to feed deer, elk and moose in Washington. It is also illegal to place feed for other wildlife if it causes deer, elk or moose to congregate. Please see the following Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife web postings (here and here) for more details, including details about the specific rule that went into effect.
Please DO NOT feed deer, or other animals, in a manner that will cause deer to congregate anywhere in Diamond Point. Please help stop the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) and abide by these laws and regulations.
The Community Yard Sale is scheduled for May 17, 2025. Please call Debby Gall at (360) 681-6180 if you wish to participate, or for any questions.
Under SAPOA By-Laws 2.1.3, each member is obligated to keep SAPOA apprised of their current mailing and email address. When SAPOA pays professionals to provide services such as printed mailers, it costs all of us more money. Please help us be financially efficient and communicate by email to everyone. If you haven’t shared your email address, please contact the board with your information at [email protected].
Mussel Beach Rd opened for vehicular traffic on April 1, 2025. Please be cautious driving down the road as it is steep and may be slippery. There is erosion damage to the boat ramp, inspect the area carefully and proceed at your own risk. Also, please remember to close and lock the gate behind you both entering and exiting the road. It is important we ensure only authorized Property Owners have access to this valuable resource.
It is anticipated that the gate will be closed for the winter on October 1, 2025 (weather dependent).
Please get in touch with Mike Williams at (360) 912-4194 or by email at [email protected] if you need keyed access to Mussel Beach Road. Keys require either a $10.00 deposit or exchange of the old key (from prior to 2023).
